Niko Skourtis (MA) was the fisherman of the evening. He tied for high hook (four legal fish) with Michael Martocci (MD) and he won the boat pool for the largest fish with the second largest fish, a 9 pound pollock. Actually, Niko landed the largest fish of the evening, a 10 pound pollock as a double keeper catch with another pollock of 7 pounds. However, he wasn't in the boat pool at the time. I told him, kiddingly, that he could get in the pool but the fish he already landed wouldn't count. Feeling lucky, he took me up on it and got in. A half hour later he caught the 9 pounder. So he won the boat pool for one fish and also won the "The Largest Fish of the Trip" sticker for the other! This is definitely a first on the Bunny Clark! His fourth fish was a 6 pound pollock. Michael, the other high hook, landed two pollock of 4.5 pounds, a 7 pound pollock and an 8.5 pound pollock, the third largest fish of the trip. Danny Martocci (MD) tied with Niko for the second largest fish of the trip with a 9 pound pollock. However, Danny wasn't in the boat pool so there was no sharing of the winnings. Danny also caught a 7 pound pollock.
